turned into a personal response

Experience wasn't the problem.

Rebuilding Seminars has helped people recover from divorce, separation and relationship loss since 1993. It had decades of curriculum, thousands of graduates, hundreds of five-star reviews and a founder who understood both counseling and systems.

But the digital experience lived in pieces. The website, assessment, results email, content, reviews and follow-up weren't working as one journey. The expertise was there. The system carrying it needed to catch up.

The assignment began as a business and website audit. It became a broader systems engagement: research the audience, preserve Bob Manthy's voice, rebuild the information architecture, improve the assessment response, prepare a serious body of useful content and design the operating infrastructure behind it.

62

verified reviews talked about community. Another 48 mentioned friends. Graduates weren't only describing recovery. They were describing the people who stayed.

The strongest promise was hiding in plain sight.

We cleaned and analyzed 288 verified Google reviews instead of guessing what mattered to prospective participants. Healing was the most common broad outcome, but community was the distinctive one.

Graduates repeatedly described arriving alone, frightened, angry or stuck. They left talking about practical tools, confidence and friendships that lasted beyond the ten-week seminar. Some form of “recommend” appeared in 96 reviews, and “highly recommend” was the most common two-word phrase in the whole set.

That changed the positioning. Rebuilding wasn't simply another divorce-recovery class. It was a structured way to move through loss with people who understood it, then leave with useful tools and a community.

Assessment to response, without a handoff disappearing.

01

Take the assessment

A participant completes the Fisher Divorce Adjustment Scale across six areas of adjustment.

02

Validate the scores

The system receives six subtest values plus the overall score and rejects malformed input safely.

03

Read the pattern

Deterministic logic finds the lowest one or two areas and recognizes a meaningful strength.

04

Send a useful response

The chart and approved copy explain what the scores mean and how Rebuilding addresses that need.

A correct score can still produce the wrong experience.

Before

The scoring mathematics worked, but everyone received essentially the same email. A person scoring near 100 could be told this must be a very challenging time. Someone struggling with anger or grief received no acknowledgement of that specific result.

After

Each response reflects the actual pattern. It names one or two tender areas, explains how Rebuilding helps, acknowledges a real strength and treats strong scorers positively. Every response says the assessment is a snapshot, not a diagnosis.

Controlled language

The system doesn't ask an AI model to improvise sensitive emotional guidance. Every possible paragraph comes from a reviewed language library written in Bob's voice.

Graceful failure

If data is missing, non-numeric or outside the valid range, the participant sees a calm fallback instead of a broken chart or server error.

Every number earns its place.

The old chart was hard to interpret. The new view labels every subtest, shows the exact score, marks 80 as the target and states which direction is healthy.

Terracotta signals a tender area below 50. Gold shows progress from 50 to 79. Sage marks a strong area at 80 or above. The seventh value is the overall adjustment score.

One engagement, several connected assets.

Business and digital audit

An 88-page examination of the website, brand, funnel, competitors, search position, risks and practical growth opportunities.

Voice system

A working guide drawn from years of Bob's newsletters and workshop material, including vocabulary, tone and ethical boundaries.

Website and content system

An extensive branded experience covering the program, assessment, facilitators, seminar journey, enrolment, resources, articles and supporting proof.

Search-focused expertise

A structured content architecture with more than two dozen substantial drafts, FAQ schema and local-content foundations.

Follow-up sequence

A 20-day prospect sequence that answers fit, readiness, process and cost questions without using emotional vulnerability as leverage.

Reusable source libraries

Verified reviews, 1,380-plus tagged quotes, social material and 23 narrated article editions prepared for review and reuse.

I have a master's in computer science, so I can usually tell when someone's overselling technology. Annette wasn't. She went through 288 of my Google reviews and told me things about my own graduates that 15 years of running these seminars hadn't shown me. Then she built the thing I'd been describing for years: someone takes the assessment, the system scores it and sends that person a personal response, and nobody touches it. I understood exactly what she built, which is why I know how good it is.

Outputs aren't outcomes. Staging isn't production.

This work produced a connected foundation, not a made-up conversion claim. We separate what was built from what was approved and live.

Built and verified

  • Assessment chart and personal-response logic
  • Cloudflare Worker endpoints with malformed-input fallbacks
  • Review dataset and customer-language analysis
  • Brand voice, content architecture and reusable source libraries
  • Website, article, email and marketing assets

Client or platform gate

  • Final production integration with the existing GoHighLevel workflow
  • Approval of sensitive response language before live use
  • Publication of draft content in Bob's name
  • Measured enrolment or conversion results after full production rollout

The aim wasn't to automate Bob out of the work.

Rebuilding is built on trust. A useful system should remove administrative friction while protecting the conversations, judgement and community that make the program work.

Research, scoring, organization, drafting and monitoring can run in the background. Sensitive language stays controlled. Anything published in Bob's name still has an approval gate. Personal conversations remain personal.

That's the distinction between adding another tool and designing a system around how a real organization operates.

Bob is a licensed professional counselor, and this kind of work has its own constraints when the people on the other end are vulnerable. We do this kind of work for coaches and therapists, built inside the compliance guardrails from the start.

Where does work still depend on you remembering it?

We'll look at the handoffs, follow-ups and repeated decisions holding the process together, then tell you plainly what is worth fixing first.
